Raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Sofia Ribeiro is a producer and assistant director, who has recently graduated from California State University, Northridge's film production program. Sofia has worked on feature and short films, music videos, and commercials. Additionally, Sofia has also worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment in the Features Physical Production as well as the TV Post Production departments.

 

In addition, the projects she has produced have been selected at festivals, such as the Culver City Film Festival, New York Lift-Off Film Festival, North Hollywood International Film Festival, Bloomington Indiana Film Festival, and Los Angeles Movie Awards.
 

Sofia is passionate about telling moving stories, ones that can change someone’s day and even their perspective on their own lives. As a producer, Sofia also seeks to increase the representation of Latinx communities, and other minority groups, in such narratives.
